Mohammed Anshif of the Expertise Contracting Co Ltd based in Saudi Arabia got married to Fathima Nashita, daughter of Mr. H. S. Nissar Baraka, Baraka Overseas Traders at an extravagant palatial themed wedding in Karnire, Mangalore. Founded by the Karnire brothers, Expertise Contracting Co Ltd is a leading industrial service provider in the Middle East. The wedding was a grand affair that witnessed the presence of many foreign delegates, renowned industrialists, politicians and celebrities.

The first event of the Karnire wedding was the wedding eve where Anshif’s siblings and their families got together for an intimate evening of celebrations by the poolside of the Karnire guest house. The LED Wall on one end of the pool was used as the backdrop for Anshif’sHaldi ceremony. The well illuminated premises along with entertaining games, mehendi for the women, fragrant hukkah for the men and neon party props for the kids resulted ina relaxing night for the Karnire family.

For the Wedding, a 1,00,000 square footage of barren land adjacent to the Karnire residence was levelled up and transformed into mini kingdom. The venue was buzzing with infrastructural and décor related work for the past 30 days. Close to 300 workers worked day and night to make the venue look like the way it did today. Almost 50 lamp posts and 10 stadium flood lights paved the pathway to the grand wedding venue. The 50 feet high and 180 feet wide intricately designed entrance gate welcomed 12000 guests as they passed through it. Specially flown in arabesque lanterns adorned the welcome area set exclusively to greet the guests as they walk in. The venue was divided into two sections for the devout guests of Mangalore. The ladies section where the Bride would be seated in her 5 domed stage and the gents section where the Groom would be greeted and congratulated by the male family members and friends.

The pool was gorgeously embellished with strings of edison bulbs.

The enormous stage was 120 feet wide and 35 feet high. 70 workers crafted the stage in a span of 20 days at the venue. One of the biggest weddings Mangalore has witnessed so far, had a grandness to it in every aspect of the wedding. The Groom arrived in a vintage car behind double white horse riders and followed by a luxury car convoy. Many renowned delegates from the Middle East also joined to celebrate the Karnire Wedding. The Groom was then escorted to his royal stage by 20 Kompang dancers with tambourines amongst the crushing crowd of Mangalore’s best. Once the Nikah was accepted and the Mulakaath was fulfilled the eminent faces of Karnataka gathered to congratulate Anshif and the Karnire brothers. The Groom had worn a Manish Malhotra Sherwani for the Nikah and he changed into a Sabyasachi Sherwani and matched to his new bride who was in a Bridal Sabysachi Lehenga just before he met her. The Groom was escorted by the ladies of his family to meet his newlywed and feed her sweets. The ceremony was fulfilled with pyro works going off on the Bridal Nest while they exchanged their garlands.
